For all my peeps that love mixed martial arts like Judo, Muay Thai, and kickboxing, I am about to review one of the newest fitness programs recently released from Beachbody called Core De Force. Get ready to Fight for It.
What is Core de Force?
Core de Force is 30 days of mixed martial arts (MMA)-inspired workouts that slash inches off your waist, blast belly fat, and sculpt total-body definition—no equipment needed. This fitness program was created by Super Trainers Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews who have extensive fitness experience teaching a variety of workouts, from kickboxing to cardio, worldwide.
Core de Force comes with 8 workouts on 3 DVDs that alternate Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai combinations, cardio spikes, and bodyweight training to help you get a knockout body. It also comes with two bonus workouts (5 Min. Core on the Floor and Core Kinetics), and every workout includes a modifier who demonstrates the moves at a lower intensity, so anyone at any fitness level can get knockout results.

CORE DE FORCE mixes moves from boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai with bodyweight training and cardio conditioning, giving you the most effective MMA-inspired workouts to help shred belly fat and transform your body in as little as 30 days. Each move, whether it’s a jab, a kick, or an uppercut, works your core from every angle— this technique is called 360-Degree Core Training.
The workouts are broken into 3-minute “rounds.” Just hit it hard for 3 minutes at a time, punching and kicking away until the bell rings to stop! Are the Moves Hard?
These workouts are challenging, but even if you’ve never thrown a punch or a kick, you can still use CORE DE FORCE to get in shape. Every workout includes a modifier who demonstrates the moves at a lower intensity, so you can go at your pace until you’re ready to take things to the next level. Plus, every MMA-inspired workout includes a move-by-move breakdown to help you get familiar with the jabs, uppercuts, kicks, and combinations from the get-go.
I am the most uncoordinated person on the planet, and I will say that I struggled a little bit with the moves. It took me 5 tries until I finally got the combinations right, but even if I wasn’t getting everything right, I was panting furiously and sweating profusely. However, despite my two left feet (and fists), I felt pretty badass with my high kicks and hook punches.
Will I have trouble keeping up?
This was my first question when I started doing this program. I am not very experienced with boxing or kickboxing terminology and even though I watched the move breakdowns before doing the workout itself, I still had struggles. BUT, I could do it at my own pace. There is no music coordination with these moves, and the class is expected to go about the move combos at their own pace. I even noticed this with the modifier who was slower, but following her own pace. It was pretty damn nice.
How long are the workouts?
Most workouts are between 27–47 minutes.
Do I need any equipment to do this program?
Nope! Your body is all the equipment you need for this program.

- Dynamic Strength
Low on impact but high on intensity, this no-equipment, bodyweight throwdown helps carve impressive definition. (12 rounds – 47 mins)
- Active Recovery
Recharge for the week ahead with this rest day workout that focuses on form and technique to fight muscle stiffness and soreness. (21 mins)

What results should I expect to see with Core De Force?
Every time I see before and after results from the Core De Force program, my jaw always drops in utter astonishment. The results are unbelievable and super inspiring. Of course, your results will vary depending on your level of consistency in your nutrition and daily commitment to your routine.
