Do you struggle with feeling happy?
In the world of adulting, we are burdened with a ton of life responsibilities which means there are more commitments of our time and energy.
That leaves us feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and so in the daily minutiae of life that we forget to recognize the beautiful things around us that used to make us so happy.
And if there is anything I have learned about happiness…
you need to express happiness and gratitude in order to feel them
So, how can you effectively surround yourself with happiness and gratitude so you can live a healthier, happier life?
My answer is simply to write 1-3 things you are grateful for every single day.
Sounds really simple, right?
Like, is this really going to help me at all?
Even though this sounds very simple, the act of mentally and physically recognizing and manifesting the people/places/things that make your life better will actually raise your awareness of those very things.
And it only takes me one to two minutes per day to actually do this exercise.
So, if you are looking to increase your happiness levels, consider starting a gratitude journal and writing down what makes you grateful every single day.
